Join us: focus group on welfare conditionality and lone parents
November 30, 2015 Leave a Comment
Practitioners working with lone parents are invited to our research focus group in Sheffield on Friday 11 December.
Our research looks at welfare sanctions and support for service users (including jobseekers, disabled people, homeless people, ex-offenders) and how these may change behaviour. We’ve already carried out 44 interviews with policy makers and 480 interviews with service users in 10 cities across England and Scotland.
Now we are facilitating 24 focus groups with frontline practitioners and advisers. We want to hear from people working with lone parents in advisory, benefits, housing, health, employment and related fields. The focus group will discuss issues around sanctions and support for lone parents. There are no right or wrong answers so please join us and share your views.
